Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These terms govern your use of the Conio website (conio.texsenss.com), the Conio desktop application, and any Solo or Office license you request. By downloading Conio or submitting a form on this site, you agree to these terms. Conio is built and distributed by Texsenss LLC ("we", "us").

2. The service

Conio is a desktop application for BOQ-to-bid cost estimation, installed and run locally via Docker on your own Windows machine. A Free tier is available at no cost, indefinitely. Solo and Office tiers unlock additional AI-assisted features and are activated with a license token we issue after a license request.

3. Licenses and pricing

• The Free tier is free forever — no time limit, no card required.
• Solo and Office license prices are fixed in USD (shown on the Pricing page) and billed annually; invoices are issued in ETB at the prevailing rate on the invoice date, payable by bank transfer or other methods we make available.
• A Solo license is for individual use only; use within a firm's shared bid workflow requires an Office license.
• An Office license covers up to 5 devices for one organization, unless we agree to a different limit in writing.
• Any usage caps described on the Pricing page (e.g. project-size fair-use limits) are part of these terms and may be updated from time to time — check the Pricing page for current limits.
• If a license expires or isn't renewed, Conio downgrades gracefully to the Free tier — your project data is never locked or deleted for a lapsed license.

4. Founders Program

The Founders Program (Pro free for 6 months, then 50% off the first paid year) is a limited-time promotion for a capped number of signups, described on the Pricing/Founders section of this site. It is a promotional discount on the standard list price, not a different list price — we may end, extend, or modify the promotion for new signups at any time without affecting terms already granted to existing participants.

5. Your data

Your project data (BOQs, rate tables, schedules, and anything else you create in Conio) stays in a local database file on your machine and belongs to you. We do not claim ownership of it, and it remains exportable at any time regardless of your license status. See our Privacy Policy for what the website itself collects.

6. AI features

AI-assisted features (BOQ matching, rate generation, schedule sequencing, and similar) use an AI provider you configure yourself — your own Google Gemini or Anthropic Claude API key, or a local Ollama model. We are not a party to your relationship with that provider and are not responsible for its availability, cost, or output. AI output is a draft — you are responsible for reviewing and approving every match, rate, and schedule sequence before relying on it for a real bid.

7. Acceptable use

• Don't share, resell, or redistribute your license token, or use it beyond the device/seat limits of your tier.
• Don't reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to bypass license activation, except to the extent applicable law gives you that right despite this restriction.
• Don't use the website's forms to submit false contact information or spam our team/Telegram bot.

8. Disclaimer of warranty

Conio is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. Estimation, matching, and scheduling outputs — AI-assisted or manual — are aids to your professional judgment, not a substitute for it. You remain solely responsible for the accuracy and adequacy of any bid, estimate, or schedule you submit using Conio.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Texsenss LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages — including lost bids, lost profits, or data loss — arising from your use of Conio, whether under the Free tier or a paid license.

10. Termination

You may stop using Conio at any time. We may suspend or terminate a license for breach of these terms (e.g. sharing a license token outside its device limit); as with expiration, this downgrades your installation to the Free tier rather than deleting your data.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product evolves. Material changes will update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use Conio after a change means you accept the updated terms.
